Harley Hamilton Taylor-Marshall.
The basis of my thinking and methods was formed in my architectural training and working in the building trades, both of which established context as the driving force in my approach. I find energy in the complex mix of a projects conditions, in the process of filtering the charged and oftentimes disparate information into its essential elements and responding in the clearest way I can.

After studying architecture at RMIT, I worked in the crafts and trades with the intention of increasing my familiarity with material dexterity and designing across scales and disciplines. Alongside employment in architectural offices I worked in residential and commercial construction, produced sculpture, worked in furniture production and as a cabinet maker/joiner.
Harley Hamilton Studio was established in 2018.
